Focusing on the U.S. Constitution as a Guide

In the spirit of celebrating the 250th year of America’s founding, and to reaffirm North Carolina’s role as “First in Freedom”, the LWVPT is creating special initiatives intended to deepen our intimate connections with its values and vision.

One is a link to the National Constitution Center’s podcasts. These podcasts explore the Constitution as a living document and provide important discussions about its values and vision.

Fundraiser 2026

We launched this drive in February 2026 asking members to help fill a gap left when the collected dues for our chapter were reduced. As of early March 2026, we reached our goal of $7,000. Members donated to cover the costs of operating our business side and to support the work of our Roundtables and Committees. The link for giving to the Fundraiser is active. Please consider giving any amount. Thank you.

The League of Women Voters of the Piedmont Triad, a membership organization, conducts action and advocacy and is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation.

League Neighbors

Also begun in early  2026, League Neighbors brings together members living outside of Greensboro. To learn more about the gatherings, and how you can join a League Neighbor group, click on the title.
