Focusing on the U.S. Constitution as a Guide

In the spirit of celebrating the 250th year of America’s founding, and to reaffirm North Carolina’s role as “First in Freedom”, the LWVPT is creating special initiatives intended to deepen our intimate connections with its values and vision.

We begin by directing you to the National Constitution Center‘s web site and specifically its section of podcasts. We will update the podcast episodes throughout the year.

The National Constitution Center is a private, nonprofit organization. It serves as America’s leading platform for nonpartisan constitutional education and debate. As the MUSEUM OF WE THE PEOPLE, the Center brings the Constitution to life for visitors of all ages through interactive programs and exhibits. As AMERICA’S TOWN HALL, the Center brings the leading conservative and liberal thought leaders together to debate the Constitution on all media platforms. As a HEADQUARTERS FOR CIVIC EDUCATION, the Center delivers the best educational programs and online resources that inspire citizens and engage all Americans in learning about the U.S. Constitution.

National Constitution Center airs We the People podcasts that explore aspects of this document and how it is exercised in our times.
