The first program for the 2026-2027 season will feature a Candidate Forum with Patrick Tillman (R-I) and Derek Mobley (D) running for the District 3 Guilford County Commissioner seat.
The forum will begin at 12:00p.m. A neutral moderator will present questions including ones submitted during the program by audience members. Candidates will have set times to answer each question posed and give a brief statement at the end of the forum.
The League of Women Voters does not endorse any candidate or political party.

Registration is required with or without lunch orders.
A catered lunch will be available for $15.00. The deadline for registering with lunch is no later than 5 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to the Tuesday event. (See ordering details on the right side of the page.)

The deadline for registering with lunch is the Wednesday prior to the lunch.
PayPal is the platform for accepting payment. However, once you choose Pay Now it will take you to the next page where you can select the Pay with Debit or Credit Card button and bypass PayPal.
