Fair Elections Roundtable

Gerrymandering is the process of re-drawing district voting lines to give an advantage to one political party over another.  It has been practiced since the 1800s by each party when it is in power, but modern technology, big data, and political polarization have made it much more effective and, hence, much more dangerous.

Voter access covers the issues that make it more difficult for voters to cast their ballots: voter ID requirements, cutbacks in early voting days and hours, reduction of early voting sites and the number of voting precincts, and allegations of voter fraud without conclusive evidence.
